My world was profoundly influenced by post war America, the continuing presence of radio, the rise of television and my DAD. It is Sunday night and the familiar anthem still sends chills up my spine. “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The SHADOW knows.” The SHADOW pulled me in and exposure to afternoon movies brought me REBECCA, THE MALTESE FALCON, NOTORIOUS and The HOUNDS of the BASKERVILLE. Alfred Hitchcock and Perry Mason became my weekly companions. So I read Agatha Christie and Mary Roberts Rinehart.  Hundreds of books later mysteries still pull me in. Join me!
