Normally not one for murder mysteries, I absolutely loved Auntie Poldi and her Sicilian adventures. Poldi moves to Sicily on her 60th birthday following the death of her husband, intending to drink her life away with a view of the sea. However, when her young friend handyman, Valentino, is murdered, she begins her own DIY investigation to bring his murderer to justice. This book is full of lovely descriptions of Sicily, little nuggets of wisdom, and smoldering zingers from our one and only Auntie Poldi.
